Formerly one-third of the Trio, Andrew is its only surviving member. Determined to atone for his past mistakes, Andrew assisted (in his own way) with defeating the First Evil, and escaped Sunnydale with Buffy and the rest of the gang. Since that time he has remained with the new Council, although whether that was by invitation or by simply never leaving is unknown. Helpful and eager to please, Andrew serves as part-time cook, part-time assistant to Giles, and full-time geek.
