The Chosen :: A Buffy virtual series continuation

Remember that little scene in "Hide & Seek" where Kennedy and Andrew are playing Dance Dance Revolution? Well we didn't just pick any old song to have them dance to. I very specifically searched through online archives of both lyric sites and the songs themselves to find just the right one. What we settled on in the end was "Bumblebee" by Bambee (from DDR 4th Mix, if you're keeping score). It had the fast, upbeat tempo necessary for the scene, but even better, it had lyrics that I felt were highly appropriate to Kennedy's mindset concerning Willow at that time. You can view the lyrics below and, even better, download the song. Then go back and reread the scene while you play the file, and the already-high entertainment value will undoubtedly soar.

Oh-o-o-oa
Oh-o-o-o

Oh-o-o-oa
Oh-o-o-o

Sweet little bumblebee, I know what you want from me
Dup-i-dup-i-do la la
Dup-i-dup-i-do la la
Sweet little bumblebee, more than just a fantasy
Dup-i-dup-i-do la da
Dup-i-dup-i-do la da

My heart skips a beat
When you walk in the room
I go boom boom boom
You go zoom zoom zoom
You're my playboy playtoy
Loveable friend
I wanna be with you until the end

I give my heart and my soul to you
To make you see its true
I'm so confused, baby, can't you see?
Please come rescue me

(Repeat Chorus)

I started to cry
When you walked out the door
You go bye, bye, bye
I go why, why, why
I'm so lonely and only
Waiting for you
To come back and tell me
"I love you"

I give my heart and my soul to you
To make you see it's true
I'm so confused, baby, can't you see?
Please come rescue me

(Repeat Chorus) x2
