Power. Everyone could do with more of it, and the minions of darkness seem especially bent on it. But nothing's free, and the benefits of the Shrouded Circle are no different. While you can juice up your character easy as pie with this, that same character starts to live on borrowed time. The Circle doesn't well tolerate failure. Lose in a fight to the good guys and the bearer of the mark won't be making a comeback like usual. Mess up on a challenge and you'll not only lose a Destiny Point like usual, but the bearer gets booted out into the discard pile. But really, what are the odds of that happening?
