Fade from black to Willow and Kennedy, smiling at each other on a picnic blanket.

The sound of a heartbeat.
Fade from black to a dinner table, Buffy sitting in front of the man she rescued.

…without knowing the prey?

Smash cut to a girl, running desperately through a forest from some unseen pursuer.
Cut to Willow, her eyes wide open and swirling with a bright, mystical energy.
Cut to Faith, jabbing her finger at someone and yelling.
Cut to Kennedy, grappling with a large, lion-sized gray creature, only barely avoiding its snapping jaws.
Cut to Buffy, standing in absolute nothingness and looking over her shoulder in alarm.
Fade to black
